(R) why would alice ask this ? It is obvious it is a caterpillar and she is a girl.I get she was madd because of what the catterpillar said but it doesn't make a difference to who it is.(P) what if the caterpillar is a spy.But alice still would have no clue to what he was doing if he was because he would nener say.(E)The caterpillar just wants to talk to her means no harm to alice.

...Alice thought she might as well wait, as she had nothing else to do, and perhaps after all it might help tell her somthing worth hearing. For some minutes it puffed away without speaking ;but at last it unfolded it's arms,btook the hookah out of it's mouth again and said" so you think you changed, do you?"pg.36

(Q) What did she think the caterpillar would tell her that she decided to wait?(CL) maybe he would finally say what he was or why he didn't talk to her.Alic eprobably feels the caterpillar could help her in so many ways.(P) maybe its something about his mushroom he is hiding or storing.Will it give her powers if it is the mushroom.
