"The king and queen of hearts were seated on their throne when they arrived, with great crowd assembled about them all sorts of little birds and beasts, as well as the whole pack of cards."pg91

(Q) I wonder what Alice thinks when she seen the white rabbit at the event? Is the king supposed to be the judge? (P) I think Alice is going to feel weird because she has never been to a court of justice. Alice might know a little bit about court since she has read books about it. (R) I think this passage is saying whhat kind of a crowd they have and what they are doing. They are having court just like any other person would have just in different kind of ways no one would have it.

" For some minutes the whole court was in confusion, getting the dormouse turned out, and, by the time they had settled down again, the cook has disappeared." Pg. 97

(Q) Where could the cook have ran away to? Was Alice nervous to be a witness at court? Did the queen and king send someone to go and find the cook? (P) I predict that Alice is going to be so nervous that she is going to mess something up. I also think that they are going to find the cook and return him to the king and queen and get disciplines. (R) This passage is saying that the cook wasn't afraid to get away meanwhile they were trying to fix something.
