The Girl in Wonderland

Using the cast, location, and any changes I’ve made to the script I would create a unique yet comedic version of “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.” I would film it in studio but also with natural setting in Canada or England. Using a variety of actors/actresses I would give the movie a feel for a comedy, yet full of adventure and mystery.

To start I would change Alice’s age to a more in between a mature and immature age, such as twelve. I would first start the movie showing Alice walking out of her home in the country towards the bank of a river. I’d have her passing a tree when suddenly a rabbit with pink eyes passes her. After this like in the book, she would go down the rabbit hole and see what she saw in the book. Most of the settings would remain the same, untouched. I might add characters to give the story more of a thrill. I would exagerate parts of the film, because it is comedy. The only thing I would majorly change is the ending. I have noticed that many people are unhappy with the ending being a dream. I would change it to be more satisfying yet I would keep the same theme going for Alice. I would probablly have Alice lead some sort of act such as a rebellion against the queen, or Alice being tiried for execution because she was wrongly accused. I woulld add more suspense and thrill to the entire plot by creating a whole new ending.
