Alice in wonderland ch 12

"The trial cannot proceed", said the king pg 99

Q why can't the trial proceed? Who interrupted the court session? P it was probably alice since she couldn't stop growing but why would this effect the case. she probably would have not end up fitting in the court house.E the king must be really mad.

The king turned pale and shut his note book hastily, "Consider your verdict," he said to the jury in a low trembling voice. pg 99

P he just wants to know what is going to happen. He is so anxious to know what they decided.R im suprise that in alice in wonderland they have a court with a jury.Im surpised because this book isn't like the real world.Q why does he want to know the verdict ? why is he pale?
