Ch.3 Alice in Wonderland

"'You are not attending!' said the mouse to Alice, severely. 'What are you thinking of?" P. 21

(R) I think its interesting that all the animals talk and have their own characteristics.The mouse seems easily offedned and seems to have some authority among the others. If I were any of the characters at the moment I'd chose to be Alice. I'd chose to be Alice because she is a human. Alice seems to be the type of lolly-gagging person. The type of person that tunes out in the middle of a story.

"I wish I hadn't mentioned Dinah!" P.23

(R) Alice is very repentful. "I wish I hadn't done..."is a common line for me. Alice continuously regrets her ignorant choices. She also continuosly makes these ignorant choices. Although she would have never met the mouse if she hadn't cried so much. And, she wouldn't have learned that Dinah is not popular in Wonderland. So, these ignorant choices obviously serve a purpose.
