" They they both bowed low, and their curls got entangled together." Pg. 44

(Q) Why would they bowe together knowing they had curls and curls get stuck together? (P) I predict that Alice will be making fun of them because they got stuck together and maybe couldn't even get out. Alice might have actually ran back into the wood's because she fears the fish footman. (E) I think what the author is trying to say is that the duchess and the queen aren't very smart for them to get their curls stuck into each others hair. (R) Getting your hair stuck happens to most people not only the duchess and the queen.

" Alice was just beginning to think to herself," Now what can I to do with this creature, when I get it home?" Pg.49

(Q) Why did Alice keep the creature if she doesn't know what to do with it when she gets home? (P) I predict that when Alice gets home she is not going to want the creature any more because she might not be able to deal with it. The creature Alice was talking about was a pig and I think Alice is going to let it go. (E) I think what the author was trying to say is that Alice doesn't even know what she is going to do with the pig and who would know what to do with a pig. The creature that was given to Alice was actually a baby but then turned into a pig.
