"It was the white Rabbit, trotting slowly back again, and looking anxiously about as it went, as it had lost something and she heard it muttering to itself, "The Duchess! The Duchess!" Pg. 24
(Q) I wonder who the duchess is and how it looked? Why did the rabbit look so anxious? (R) Maybe the rabbit lost his watch and was looking for it while thinking of the duchess and kept saying it's name. (P) I think the rabbit was thinking about the duchess the whole time and couldn't think of anything else. (C) I can connect to what the rabbit is going through because when thinking of someone I can't get hem off my mind for some reason even when I want to get it off my mind. (E) I think what the author is trying to say is that the dutchess may be someone the rabbit is looking for or and is a bad person or thing.

"Luckily for ALice the little magic bottle had now had it's full effect, and she grew no larger still it was very uncomfortable ." Pg. 26
(Q) Didn't Alice drink a bottle she a first thought was poison already? Did the bottle not work this time on her? I wonder what's going to happen since nothing happened to her? (P) I think the effect from the bottle will effect on her later on in the story. (E) I really don't understand what the author was trying to say because it's confusing since she had already drank a bottle full of liquid. I really don't understand by when it said the magic bottle had now had it's full effect.
