Alice in wonderland ch 3

At last the mouse who seemed to be a person of some authority among them called out"sit down, all of you, and listen to me! pg.17

(Q) Is this mouse the leader of all of the mice or does he just want to tell them something important? (CL)He has some autority and just wants to tell them somthing impotant. Maybe someone else is a leader but he me be close to that mouse.(P) Maybe he'll tell them about what has happened to alice,how she got there, and where they need to get her to.

"What is a caucidis race?"said alice's ; not that she much wanted to know, but the Dodo had paused. pg 19

(P) The Dodo is probably shocked alice doesn't know what that race is.But he would have to understand that shes not from his world she does have a wild imagination but won;t know what he is talikng about.(E) The mouse expects alot for alice to know when she berly got to know how wonderland is. I think she wants to know everything they do and what it is.(Q) what is that type of race?what is it meant for?
