(R) I for some reason think our courts these days. Although this is taking place in a very different time period, I see a connection. Often times our jury maybe because of race does not provide justice. They end up wrongly convicting someone. Or, they don’t convict someone as guilty, when with evidence they are clearly innocent. An injustice is being done with The queen of hearts “serving” by executing every participant in her crochet game!

“My dear! I wish that you would have this cat removed!” P.70

(R) With any little irritation the king or queen believe execution to be the answer. If our world where like this, I’m sure there would be no one left. Except for the king and queen. They remind me of monsters savagely beheading people. (C) I honestly hope the queen of hearts dies at the end of the book. She would deserve it, with how many lives she's taken. She is a serial killer, and I can consider the executioner to be the same. Someone should take stand to her, because she has not right and no cause.
