“Who are you?” P.34
(R) The caterpillar seems to have an awful pushy personality. He sees that Alice is not thinking straight, but still continuously asks her who she is. I would have been irritated if I had been harassed by a caterpillar about my identity, as to who I am. (P) Maybe the question as to , “Who I am?” leads to the book’s theme. The theme may be finding who you really are, because at the moment ALice has no clue who she is. (Q) Why does Alice remember everything about home, except for who she is? Why does the caterpillar forcefully want to know who she is?
“That is not said right” P.38
(Q) Why does Alice not remember her studies? Does Alice only remember the things around her such as, her cat Dinah? (CL) Everytime she is asked a question about literature, she simply responds in a very queer way. (P) The fall down may have made her remember things incorrectly. For example maybe she doesn’t even have a cat, but believes she does. She seems to say things without rightly knowing.
