"Alice thought the whole thing was very absurd..."pg 20

The whole thing is very absured to the reader that is.In this whole book like I have said before is just nonsense Alice just through three chapters is already changing quite a bit.For example she is curious and does not seem to care much for the things happening around her.Although in this quote she cares for what is happening just in this random moment.{P}I believe that Lewis put more of this style of Alice's thinking pattern into the book.{Q}Why does Alice seem to care for her surrounding now more than she did at the begining of this book.
"I wish I hadn't mentioned Dinah" pg 23
{R}
What I find most interseting about his quote is the fact that Alice still remembers her cat.The reason I say this is because earlier in the book Alice was becoming fustrated because she thought she was someone ese from her class.To me that is signaling that her cat is some sort of anchor to her memory, if she was someone she wouldn't remember her own life.Also she is always talking to her cat or just talking as if someone was there just to talk to her about her problems that she is facing at the moment.There has been a significant amount of character grownth in Alice but not much in the characters.So far I just see new characters pop up very often.{S}What u would just like to say is that Lewis Carroll puts so much back story into a character or gives them a big personality/karisma even if a character is in that scene for a short period of time.Lewis does a thing that leaves you thinking about that character and how his/her persona turned out after that scene.
