"I wish I hadn't cried so much!" said Alice as she swam about trying to find her way out." Pg.13
(P) I have a feeling that Alice was scared since she was in a pool of her own tears and didn't know which was the way to get out. (E) What the author is trying to say is that Alice wish she didn't cry because since she was crying she was the reason for her having to swom in her own tears. I think the author tried telling us that in the story he made Alice cry so she can swim to the table and get what she needed. This doesn't make sense because if I knew I was going to shrink then go big I wouldn't cry because I would know I was going to need to swim. Alice is right she shouldn't have cried so much because now she has to find a way out of her pool of tears. (Q) I wonder how Alice found her way out?

"Just at that moment her head stuck against the roof of the hall: in fact she was high, and she at once took up the little golden key and hurried off to the garden door." Pg.10
(Q) How did Alice get even bigger? What made her get so tall? (P) I think soon or later Alice will be her own size again and enjoy the journey she is taking. I feel that Alice is going to get through with out anything else happening to her. (E) I think what the author is trying to say is that she got big enough to the point where he doesn't have to reach for the key. Lewis Carroll is describing how every little thing in the book looks like and that's a very good thing because it makes us feel like we know how everything looks like.
