Alice in Wonderland Chapter 1

There was nothing so very remarkable in that ; nor did Alice think so very much out of the way to hear the rabbit say to itself" oh dear !oh dear ! I shall be too late!" pg.1

(Q) Why would alice think this was even normal ?(E) She is probrably ignorant and not normal doesn't scare her she probably even thinks this is something that usually happens to people.(R) Or what if she is just so bored she is ready for any adventure that crosses her path.

Presently she begans again. "I wonder if I shall fall right through the earth! How funny it seems to come out among the people that walk with their heads doewnwards."pg. 3

(Q) How could she make a joke when she just fell down a hole that she can't get out of? (P) She wants to make something good out of a bad situation. (P) Honestly I know I could not laugh when I just fell down a hole. She was probably nervous maybe she thought she couldn't get out but decided to just laugh it off
